This poem is composed by William words worth. He was born on April 7, 1770 in North England. He made his debute as writer when he published a sonnet in a European magazine. The cute and lovely flowers offer a soothing effects to a melancholic heart. Their pleasing colours, fascinating fragrance and unparalleled symmetry have always had a healing effects on human senses. One day the poet was wandering on the bank of a lake suddenly he saw a larger number of golden daffodils. They were as many as the stars in the milky way. He saw thousands of flowers at a glance they were moving and dancing with joy. They were very attractive. They were swaying merrily in the breeze. The daffodils were looking so beautiful that he went on looking at them for a long time. This beautiful sight filled the poet’s heart with pleasure it left a lasting impression on his memory. The poet says whenever he lies on a couch in a vacant and pensive mood. The sight of those golden daffodils comes into his imagination and fills his heart with pleasure, this is a blessing in his solitude. This sight is a nature's miracle for the Poet.
